H.O.M.E. Program Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who is eligible to participate in the H.O.M.E program?
A: Students must meet the prerequisites of the co-op/internship program as determined by their educational institution before referrals are made directly from the school representative to Kelly IT Resources.

Q: How do I enroll in the program?
A: Call the appropriate college contact, listed on the previous page, to learn about information meetings, prerequisites, required paperwork and next steps.

Q: What types of work schedules are available?
A: Students may work part-time or full-time while continuing their studies. The types of assignments available are dependent upon the needs of the client company and economic conditions.

Q: Is there a chance that this can develop into a permanent employment opportunity?
A: Yes. If internship performance is exemplary and opportunities are available within the organization, students may be invited to transition into a more permanent job. However, there is no guarantee that an internship will lead to a permanent position with Kelly.

Q: Does the student practice provide skills in areas other than information technology?
A: The initial jobs will be in the field of IT, but it is planned to expand into all fields jointly worked by the schools and Kelly Services.
